/ ‘Paper Pots’ explores experimental materials and draws inspiration from the metal craft technique of slab folding.

During my residency in Japan, I created objects using paper clay. I discovered a resemblance to ‘Shinzudanzi’ (신주단지), a household god in South Korea, in Japanese altarpieces, which influenced my creations.
